The Fighting City of Philadelphia has served as home to a variety of many great fighters. This "City of Brotherly Love" shows unity amongst its combatants as they all gather to train in local gyms together to better their boxing craft. Philly serves as home to many current and former champions including the great boxing craftsmen Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins and Light Welterweight Champion, Danny "Swift" Garcia. Philly is a large city with a well known fight scene, but the unity within Philadelphia borders makes it a place like no other. The history behind the Philadelphia fight scene is remarkable as it is where the legendary fight series of "Rocky" takes place and where the late, Great Joe Frazier learned to throw his deadly left hook.
