THEY WILL LIVE FOREVER

Some of us remember when Mike Tyson defeated Michael Spinks for the World Heavyweight Championship, others when Ali and Frazier squared off in the epic battle of "The Thrilla in Manilla", and few even still sit back and reminisce on the old school gillette friday night fights. No matter what generation or era of boxing one is from, there have been prominent pugilist figures to change the nature and view on the sport we hold so dear. These figures are what we call "LEGENDS TO THE GAME". Since these legends derive from many eras, many countries and different weight classes there is no way to identify which fighter or what era has impacted the sport of boxing the most, that remains to the opinion of the individual. What we can do however, is make sure the legacies of these legends live on through the pen and the passing down of their stories by YOU THE FAN. Mike's Night at the Fights uses "Legends to the Game" to educate our youth on the past time and developement of the pugilist science and how individual fighters, trainers, promoters, and fans from all eras have impacted it so greatly.
